Description

One-of-a-kind ritual wand of pear wood, carved ethically sourced deer bone, copper, citrine, and amethyst.

Length: 15 inches

Description
The Woodland Wand is a singular hand-crafted ritual instrument inspired by the living landscape, natural cycles, intuition, and the liminal places where cultivated paths give way to the wild.

A pear-wood shaft forms the body of the wand, encircled by inlaid copper wire that follows its length in a loose spiral. The handle is fashioned from carved deer bone, ornamented with flowing spiral motifs and set with multiple natural citrine points.

At the opposite end, an amethyst point terminates the wand, creating a deliberate dialogue between the warm, earthy-solar character of citrine and the cooler, contemplative quality traditionally associated with amethyst.

The result is organic without being crude, ornamented without losing the natural character of its materials.

Materials

  • Pear wood
  • Carved, ethically sourced deer bone
  • Inlaid copper wire
  • Citrine points
  • Amethyst point

All animal-derived materials used in Salvaged Wisdom art and ritual objects are ethically sourced. No animal is harmed or killed for the purpose of providing materials for our work.

Symbolic Character
The Woodland Wand sits comfortably at the meeting place between root and branch, instinct and awareness, cultivated craft and wild nature.

Pear wood provides the living foundation: growth, seasonality, continuity, and connection to the plant world.

The carved deer bone brings animal presence, mortality, instinct, and the enduring traces of life. Its flowing spiral motifs reinforce themes of natural cycles, movement, growth, and return.

Copper winds through the piece as a conductive thread, visually and symbolically linking its different elements.

The cluster of citrine at the handle contributes warmth, vitality, confidence, abundance, and the generative energy of sunlight.

At the working end, amethyst shifts the current toward intuition, contemplation, spiritual awareness, and the unseen dimensions of experience.

Together, the materials suggest a wand concerned with walking between worlds without losing contact with the ground beneath your feet.

Its central current might be expressed as:

Know the path. Hear the wild. Walk between.
Suggested Uses
The Woodland Wand may be particularly well suited to workings involving:

  • nature and green magick
  • land and spirit-of-place work
  • seasonal and cyclical ritual
  • intuition and divination
  • meditation and spiritual exploration
  • hedge-crossing or liminal practice
  • plant, garden, or herbal workings
  • communion with natural environments
  • blessings for journeys, wandering, or personal exploration
  • directing energy during outdoor ritual
  • workings concerned with balance between the material and spiritual worlds

It may also serve beautifully as an altar tool for practitioners whose path centers upon nature, animism, folk practice, or the relationship between human life and the more-than-human world.

As with all ritual tools, its deepest function will ultimately be determined by the practitioner who works with it.

One of a Kind
This wand is completely unique.

The natural curvature of the pear wood, the shape of the deer bone, the placement of the casings, and the individual citrine point cannot be duplicated.

You will receive the exact wand pictured.

Care
Natural wood, bone, leather, stone, copper, and brass will all age differently.

Keep the wand away from prolonged moisture, extreme heat, and direct sunlight. Avoid soaking or using harsh chemical cleaners.

Dust gently with a soft cloth or brush. Copper and brass may naturally develop patina over time; whether that patina is preserved or polished away is a matter of personal preference.

Take particular care around the projecting citrine and amethyst points when storing or transporting the wand.

Safety
This is a ritual art object, not a toy.

Natural crystal points and carved bone may have hard or pointed surfaces. Handle with care and keep away from children and pets.

Magick supports action; it does not replace it.
