Description
Abramelin Oil has been used in various forms for thousands of years; its roots can be traced back to the Jewish Holy Oil of Tanach as mentioned in the Biblical Book of Exodus. Many versions of the oil have appeared over the years, the most notable of which appear in the Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage, 15th Century grimoire translated in the 19th Century by S.L. MacGregor Mathers, and later in the writings of Aleister Crowley in the early 20th Century.
The De Rituales version is a variation on the French maceration method, which does not burn the skin like the Crowley recipe is known to do. (Always do a skin test, however!)
Effective uses for Abramelin Oil include: consecrating altar tools, anointing the body for rituals (enhances focus and energetic flow), and empowering enchanted items.
Although this recipe is generally skin-friendly, always perform a skin test on a small area first, since everyone is different.
• Sold as a curio only.
• For external use only. Always test a small area in case of skin sensitivity.
